Hello! Thanks for stopping by to check out my bass world. On this site you can find my music, books, DVD’s, and thoughts and perspective on the bass world.

I had a fantastic summer of playing some great gigs, meeting some great people, performing with some amazing musicians and teaching bass seminars in Chicago, Virginia and Connecticut. Now as the fall approaches and the summer festivities have clamed I’m digging into authoring a book, which I am most excited about titled, Total Funk Bassist. I’m writing this book with a lot of passion because it is all about FUNK! From fingerstyle funk, to slap & pop, to some of the more recent techniques used in the slap & pop style, this book will contain 127 pages of important information used in funk bass playing and many, many, many funk bass lines with varying degrees of difficulty, but all musical.

After things get settled in the next few weeks I’m going to begin to post a few lessons on the site. I’ve been getting emails with lots of questions regarding many topics so I thought I’d post a few lessons on the site when time allows.
